The sole purpose of Communion for the homebound is to reach out to people who cannot come to Church to receive Communion. Some people who have just come home after a hospital stay may want to receive Communion only once or twice. Some, who are seriously ill or aged would need to have one of our group come every week after Sunday Mass, usually for an indefinite period of time.
